I realized that I haven’t posted any photos recently of the office renovation since the construction crew carried their tools away (for what is hopefully the last time). I’m very pleased with the way it has all come together.
The move finished last week while I was away. Boxes are getting unpacked and folks are starting to get settled into their desks. Construction in the kitchen is not yet complete, but should be finished by the end of next week. I’m pleased with the way its turning out and its such a welcome change to have the entire office to ourselves. Here are a few photos of the progress.
Furniture, shelves and boxes are all starting to arrive at 137 Grand. Looks a little smaller as its starts to fill, but we’ve got plenty of space. The rest should all arrive tomorrow, but I won’t be around to see it, as I leave in the morning for a week. I expect it will look completely different when I get back.
After more complications and frustrations than I care to detail, the Macktez office move is finally underway. The servers came online yesterday and a significant amount of the boxes made their way to the new space.

And a few of my own photos of the space.
Soon to be the new home of Macktez. Construction hasn’t started, but today’s Staff meeting will be in the new space. We hope to move by New Year’s. Reminds me of the old loft on Canal Street where I spent so many years — with all the positive and negative connotations intact.

The Macktez crew goes kayaking
Starting from Peekskill, we headed north on the Hudson to Bear Mountain Bridge and Popolopen Creek for lunch. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day. A good time was had by all — at least that’s what everyone said (as if they’d tell me otherwise).
